Meet Dr. Jennifer Freij
Dr. Jennifer Freij is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over two decades of experience on the front lines of reactive care. For years, she worked in high-pressure hospital environments treating acute illnesses and life-threatening emergencies—yet behind the scenes, she faced her own struggle to find answers within a healthcare system that too often fails to treat the whole person.
Like so many women, Dr. Freij was repeatedly dismissed, misdiagnosed, and placed into generic treatment paths that didn’t reflect her lived experience. Despite her clinical training, she was treated as a data point in a population model rather than an individual with unique biology and specific needs. It was a turning point that reshaped her philosophy on what modern medicine should be.
Alongside her husband, Dr. John Kulish, she co-founded Best Life N of 1 to change the narrative—building a practice that prioritizes the patient as a one-of-one, not a one-of-many. Together, they have created a new model of care that is precise, deeply personal, and centered around advanced diagnostics, proactive strategies, and long-term vitality.
As a mother of three, Dr. Freij brings a layered and realistic perspective to her work. She understands the demands women face as they juggle careers, families, hormonal changes, and evolving health needs—often while putting themselves last. Her clinical expertise is enriched by this lived empathy, which shapes the balance, compassion, and clarity she offers her patients. She advocates fiercely for the kind of care she once sought for herself: intelligent, individualized, and rooted in biology, not blanket protocols.
While Dr. Freij treats both men and women, she is especially committed to elevating women’s health. From hormonal imbalances to metabolic shifts, she sees what others often miss—and ensures every patient feels seen, heard, and empowered to live their healthiest life.
At Best Life N of 1, Dr. Freij is redefining what it means to be well—not just free from illness, but thriving with energy, purpose, and precision-tailored care.
